Love, Peace & Democracy is this year's motto of Creative Week Frankfurt, initiated by the Cluster of Creative Industries in Hessen (CLUK) in 2019.
In 2023, the week is a festival for a creative future. A discourse platform for professionals from the creative industries, politics, science and culture. A unique week that gives beginners and interested people the opportunity to try out their creativity for themselves and meet like-minded people.
But what does that have to do with democracy? You might ask. Our form of society allows us to shape our lives freely and self-determined. In a democracy, we all have an influence on how we live. Especially in creative professions. It is important to preserve this.
Conclusion: Creative professionals in particular bear responsibility here. After all, they have
good ideas for a future worth living. Day after day, they look for new solutions - also for the burning questions of our society. For example: democratic coexistence, the development of sustainable and sensible products and the protection of our planet. Besides a lot of inspiration, Creative Week therefore also offers food for thought.
5 days, 4 locations, 33 events - that's what makes Creative Week Frankfurt a festival of new ideas and interdisciplinary exchange of experience in the creative industries.
The week is supported by the Hessian Ministry of Economics and the Frankfurt Economic Development Corporation. It's all organised with the help of Lürzer's Archive, Orfeos Erben, Galli Theater and European School of Design as well as over 30 (!) associations and organisations of the creative industries. Leading media partners help us publicise the event. Thank you all.
